Hi, I’m Carolyne. I’m a brand designer who helps businesses look like themselves, only better. My practice covers logo and identity systems, packaging, signage, websites, custom lettering, and the occasional hand-painted mural (yes, really — ladders and everything).

Graphic design isn’t about making things pretty. Pretty is easy. Pretty is a Pinterest board. Real design is about solving a specific problem — how a business wants to be understood, who it’s trying to reach, and what makes it different from the shop down the street. So before I open Illustrator, I ask a lot of questions. Possibly more than you were expecting. A beautiful logo attached to the wrong idea is just expensive decoration.

A few brands I’ve had the pleasure of building: Sport Nutrition North (full brand identity and website), Joanie’s Pastries (full identity, packaging, and labels), Cafe Joyeux (full rebrand, labels, and that aforementioned mural), and Gallant Tree Services (a rename, brand refresh, and website overhaul to match their growing service list).
